1. Surpassing 300,000 EV sales in the U.S. since 2016, General Motors has become the nation’s second-highest EV seller in the third quarter of 2024.2. At the 2024 SEMA Show, two adventurous EV concepts—the EV9 ADVNTR SUV and PV5 WKNDR Van—were showcased by Kia America, each tailored for rugged outdoor lifestyles with features like off-road capabilities, adaptable storage, and sustainable power sources.
3. The best-selling fully electric Volvo EX30 SUV, known for its award-winning design and swift performance, will reach U.S. customers by the end of 2024, with preorders prioritized for delivery sooner than expected to meet high demand.
4. A $129 million Special Purpose Vehicle is being established by Blink Charging in partnership with Axxeltrova Capital to expand EV charging infrastructure in the UK and beyond, inviting additional investors to support growth in the EV sector.
5. Suzuki has unveiled its first mass-production battery EV, the e VITARA, featuring a design that combines advanced technology and strength, an efficient BEV powertrain with an electric 4WD system, and a newly developed platform specifically for EVs.
6. GoBolt, a technology company building a sustainable supply chain network, ranked second on Deloitte's 2024 Technology Fast 50 Enterprise – Industry Leaders list, with 823% growth from 2019 to 2023.
7. To expand into the European market and deliver EV charging infrastructure, inverters, chargers, and storage systems, StarCharge is partnering with Schneider Electric amid rising tariffs on Chinese-made cars in the EU.
8. Toyota and Joby Aviation showcased their shared vision for air mobility at Toyota's Higashi-Fuji Technical Center, marking a milestone in their collaboration to develop clean air travel solutions, with Toyota's expertise and Joby's innovative eVTOL technology driving progress.
9. The divestment of its fuel division to EZFill Holdings has been announced by Yoshi Mobility, allowing the company to focus on sustainable solutions such as mobile EV charging.
10. In October, 10,517 cars were sold by Volvo Car USA and Canada, with a 17.8% increase in sales of electrified models, which accounted for 40.3% of total sales for the month.
